First puzzle

Last week Avery came home from a walk with a disk someone cut from a tree. He said he wanted to keep it and make something cool with it.

Today he and I were in the garage and he saw my drill press and wanted to drill a hole in it. I laid out all of my drills and asked him which one he wanted to use. He started with a little one but then decided that my hole saw was more exciting. Once he had the hole cut out he took the cutout and broke it and put it back into the whole. He was so excited to show mom his puzzle. He brought it inside and washed it and dried it before showing her. He was quite proud of his accomplishment. I was quite proud of my little wood worker.
