The school year has officially started for Avery and Alia. Alia is doing Running Start through Tacoma Community College for her senior year. She has 3 classes this quarter, English 102, Political Science and College 101. She stacked her classes so she only has to go in twice a week. She is enjoying driving herself and has created a study space in the Leaf. Avery started his second year at Oregon State and decided to stay in the dorms another year. He is sharing a suite with 2 other guys and girls. He has his own room which is making a big difference.
It was weird taking the first day of school photos in a new house. We don't really have a front door so we took the picture by the sliding basement door. We almost made it from Kindergarten to Senior year with the same door.
He made his room cozy this year. We were able to help move him in again. We briefly met his roommates. The girls share a room and we initially heard meowing when we were setting Avery's room up. We thought that one of the girls had a cat but we learned later that they meow at each other. College kids are weird.
We took Miss B'Haven out for dinner before dropping Avery off. This was Cosmos's first ride and he did great! He's a chill dog that isn't afraid of anything.
