Paint by chalk

Another hot day in GA required us to get wet in the sprinkler to stay cool. The kids found a piece of sidewalk chalk and the combination of the sprinkler and the chalk led them to discover the awesomeness of wet chalk. Before I knew it, they had all of our sidewalk chalk out and started mixing it with water to make chalk paste.

Avery loved experimenting with mixing the colors. He would scribble the yellow and then the blue and add water to make green goo.

Green goo hands.

Alia thought it was more fun to jump in it and make colorful footprints all over the sidewalk.

Scott got home and got attacked. Luckily he is quick at changing into his suit.

If you were wondering you can soak your chalk first and it gets nice and soft for easy painting.
