Fun in the mud

It has been awhile since since we have had a good adventure. Since having kids we have toned down our adventures a bit. When we came across this we knew we were going to do it. We instantly called my sister and recruited her and her husband.

This weekend was a good one for fun and family. My whole family came down and we rented a cabin in the mountains for the weekend. Our kids got to hang out with their grandparents and we got to cut loose at the Warrior Dash.



The Warrior Dash is a short 3 mile run through the woods, mud and over obstacles. If you want to check out a first hand perspective of the race and all of the obstacles check out this YouTube video.

Costumes are recommended so we went all out.

The kids really enjoyed watching everyone splashing through the mud. Avery especially enjoyed the club and helmet.





After the race we explored a bit and ended up at the top of one of the many mountains.



It was really nice to see everyone and we are already planning for next years race.
