Christmas 2018

We cut our tree down from Auggie's Christmas tree farm on Vashon again this year.

This is always a favorite Christmas morning.

 She got a  Hatchimal!

She carried it around all day.

 Excavating a bug

The best part is sitting among the chaos and enjoying a hot chocolate coffee while the kids play with their new treasures.

Christmas break means puzzle time!  This one has 1,000 pieces and has been fun to put together.

We headed to Plain/Wenatchee area in Washington for a few days to go play in the snow.  Santa got the kids the Clue game and we had fun playing it.

We cross country skied in Wenatchee state park.  There were really great, groomed trails for miles.

 And we are off!

It snowed the day before and the trees were beautiful.

He skied well but he also loved falling.

Trying to get up the hills doing the duck walk was a little more challenging but by day 2, he was getting the hang of it.

All ready to go on day 2.  We skied 3 miles on the second day and there was a lot less falling, me included.

 Sledding at the State park.

Snow angels and burying each other in the snow.

She enjoyed eating her fair share of snow.

We stopped for the evening to enjoy the Christmas lights in Leavenworth.
