1. For breakfast, he asked for homemade waffles with whipped topping and strawberries. We let him have as much whipped cream as he wanted because he always asks for more. I think he ate a bowl full today!
2. No quite time, instead he wanted to watch a movie
3. No chores today, he didn't have to feed the dogs or clean up anything today
4. As much cake as he wanted- he ate so many cake pops and ice cream today
5. Dinner at Chick fil-a
6. Lots of time to play leapster and his new games
7. A late bedtime.
We had a birthday party playdate this afternoon. Avery loved having his friends over to play.
We filled the pool with bath foam.
Avery was able to go fast with the foam all over him.
Alia loved just sitting in it!
The pool was the perfect place to rinse all of the foam off.
We made the cake pops from here. They were a lot of fun to make, but very time consuming. We also made ones with ice cream. For those, we made the balls and covered them with sprinkles and then dipped them in chocolate.

It's fun to go back to the other years and see how much he has grown
Things he told me would happen now that he is 5:
1. His teeth are going to fall out.
2. He is growing every night when he goes to bed.
3. He will go to a classroom for big kids when school starts.
4. He can watch scooby-doo.
5. He can blow up balloons and tie them on his own.
6. He is strong now.
